I captured this moment on August 10, 2020, in the
Badlands of North Dakota. When you take that hard climb, this is the view that
was waiting for my family and me. After a long and tiring hike up the landform,
it was worth it when seeing this. It seemed endless of these hills and valleys,
but uniquely in the Badlands. Honestly, describing these landforms in the
Badlands is hard for me because it makes me speechless. They are hill shaped
but are like mountains and rock. It's a struggle, but I do know that this is my
favorite place to travel in ND. This place is my vacation for my mind. When
coming here, I have clear mind and no stress as it seems to fade away. In life,
I encourage you to find your place of healing and clarity. You need to have a
break because you are human. Challenges cause you to need that special place.
Mental health and resetting are so important that they both go hand in hand.
Take that break, relax to a peacefulness within you, and let all things outside
of the place be set aside. It's time to focus on what makes you feel lighter
and more clarifying.
