Candy Skies

I took this photo on September 18, 2020, on the Dickinson State University campus. It was so bright that it made me look up and I thought of cotton candy. This was so beautiful to view! Just like every human being in the world, we all have our colors to show. Not everyone’s the same. I've learned in my life, when I got to college, everyone has their own way to them. There are some that shine darker colors if they are feeling anger, irritation, or frustration. Others may have a dull color representing sadness, abandonment, or lonely. With joy, laughter, and smiling comes bright colors. Every day we will not have the same colors to show, but we still shine. For those that may be feeling low, they shine to people for a compliment or greeting. When one is laughing, they are shining in spreading light and positivity to those around them. Every time the sky is blue, the clouds aren't the same pattern or shape. It's okay to allow and reveal your true feelings to bleed out like a watercolor on its specific paper. It's beautiful when one feels broken. Take your colors and let them mix and match. There since hasn't been a sky like this yet this year that I have seen. When these skies come, we must capture the moment or memory like it won't return. Please treat yourself the same way.
