I happened to take this picture on August 7, 2015,
from the riding stables in Medora, ND. I absolutely love looking at this
picture because I have a passion for rodeo and horses. My immediate thought
when glancing at this picture is it presents an arena of life. What is your
arena of life? Have you found it yet? An arena of life is where you spend the
most time in and out of. When I think of this, it is my lifetime. If one said
nothing is ever easy in this arena of life, it could be anything that you
approach daily. My arena of life is the rodeo arena because that is where I spend
much of my time during the rodeo season. It is where my true joy and passion
spill out of me. All the blood, sweat and tears spent in the arena are all
spent in the arena. You know the saying about how hard work beats talent when
talent doesn't work hard? Yes, that's the sole factor of anything in life. Find
your arena of life where you dedicate your time and that becomes a part of you.
Life is most certainly like an arena where you go round and round in circles
and get nowhere. If we have the courage to try, though, and figure out a way to
solve a problem or fight a battle, we will be successful. An arena of life also
represents where you show people your skill and perform on this grand stage. It
is where you practice something, but also perform the task. When looking for
your arena of life, always look to the time it took to do something. All the demanding
work and sacrifice won't go unnoticed in this arena we call life.
